Triangle Horse Sports

OWNERS: Gilles & Christine Casavant

Gilles Casavant is an accomplished rider and devoted life-long horse owner. Gilles grew up with horses, and followed his love of riding into competition. He is a former member of the Canadian Equestrian Team, and has competed in both the hunter ring and on the Grand Prix circuit in the U.S. and Canada, winning many championships in both. Gilles and his horse Lionel hold the Canadian puissance record at 7' 5 ½". Devotion to the sport of riding, and to the next generation of champions attracted Gilles to serve as a trainer for both Junior and amateur riders, before founding Triangle Horse Sports. Since 1994, Gilles has used his extensive expertise to assist THS customers to think, look, and ride like champions.

Meagan Casavant was born to Gilles and Christine Casavant in the outskirts of Montreal,Canada and moved to North Carolina at the age of two. Shortly after arriving, her parents opened their own independent business, Triangle Horse Sports. Her parent’s passion for horses was reflected in their store as well as their daughter. Since a young age, Meagan has enjoyed riding horses and nearly four years ago she began competing in the western riding style, reining. Since then she has won multiple awards and has represented North Carolina in many international horseshows. Her family now owns a horse farm in Zebulon, North Carolina where they keep their beloved horses: Scooby, Shaggy, and Nani. Meagan has attended the Episcopalian St. David’s School since the third grade and hopes to pursue a career in medicine or journalism.
