Fitting a Helmet Properly
A correctly fitted helmet should make contact all the way around the rider's head such that when you move the brim up and down it should cause the rider's eyebrows to move. The helmet should not slip forwards on the rider's head or move side to side. It should be snug but not painfully tight. After fitting the helmet, bend over and shake your head. The helmet should stay in place. The chin strap should be tight enough to allow no more than two fingers between it and the rider's chin.
